What will this plan do for Louisville Metro?
Leveraging existing community plans and foundational work in the sector, this plan will aim to:

We will achieve this through broad outreach and collaboration with a diverse cross-section of Louisville Metro residents, ensuring all voices and perspectives contribute to the plan and its implementation.

In order to celebrate the impact of Arts & Culture within the community, solidifying its position as a local priority.

Building upon the Imagine Greater Louisville 2020 and 2050 plans, we will assess, refine, and deepen its strategic recommendations to reflect current needs and aspirations.

About the Plan
Louisville Metro Government's Office of Arts + Creative Industries is partnering with Designing Local, Artful Places, and Jon Stover & Associates on a cultural planning process for Louisville.
This process will build on existing plans like Imagine Greater Louisville 2025, Plan 2040, and Growing Louisville Together. Louisville Metro aims to set concrete goals for growing the creative industries and their economic impact.
Key components of the Cultural Planning Process include:
Updating the Public Art Master Plan
Conducting an economic audit of the arts sector
Developing recommendations to support Louisville's creative economy
